A Biosafety Cabinet Class 100, also known as a laminar airflow cabinet, provides a sterile working environment with ISO Class 5 (Class 100) clean air. It is designed to protect sensitive samples and products from contamination by filtering air through a high-efficiency HEPA filter that removes 99.99% of particles ≥0.3 microns. The cabinet delivers a continuous stream of unidirectional, laminar airflow across the workspace to maintain sterility. Typically used in microbiology, pharmaceutical, and electronics laboratories, it is ideal for non-hazardous materials. However, it does not protect the user or environment from biohazards, making it suitable for product protection only.

They are primarily used to allow laboratory workers to work with infectious agents without becoming exposed to the agents. It is an integral factory assembled system. The basic unit is of externally Melamine laminated body housing, Pre Filters, HEPA Filters & Blowers assembly etc. It is suitable for handling medium to low risk organisms encountered in research, Investigation, Labs in all branches of Medical, Agriculture, Pharmaceutical &; Science.
