A
DM (Deionized/De-mineralized) Water Plant is a water purification system designed to remove dissolved salts and minerals from raw water through ion exchange technology. It typically consists of cation and anion exchange resin columns that replace positive and negative ions with hydrogen (H⁺) and hydroxide (OH⁻) ions, forming pure water. The DM plant delivers highly purified water suitable for industrial applications such as pharmaceuticals, power plants, laboratories, and electronics manufacturing. These systems offer consistent water quality, low conductivity, and are easy to operate and maintain. Regeneration of the resins is done using acid and alkali chemicals to restore their effectiveness.
